A HOTEL kitchen was damaged in a blaze at the weekend.
The fire at the premises on South Promenade, St Annes, was the result of a pan being left unattended, said Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service.
The incident, just after 1pm on Saturday, June 28, caused moderate smoke damage to the kitchen contents and decor and light smoke damage to two other rooms.
Three fire appliances attended and firefighters used breathing apparatus to tackle the blaze.
