COMMUNITIES throughout the Fylde turned out to pay their respects at the Remembrance and Armistice Day commemorations on Sunday.

Fylde Borough Council fired maroons - missed last year due to Armistice Day falling on the same day as Remembrance Sunday - from Ashton Gardens, Lytham Green and William Segar Fields in Kirkham at 11am on November 11.
They were followed by the traditional two minutes silence.
On Remembrance Day on Sunday there were four parades before the services throughout the borough.
They were be preceded by a procession to the cenotaphs.
The services took place at St Annes, Lytham, Kirkham and Wesham.
