A LYTHAM firm has helped three charities with a £26,000 donation.
Aegon UK, a life and pensions company, presented cheques of almost £9,000 to Bispham-based Trinity Hospice, The North West Air Ambulance Service and the Special Care Baby Unit of Blackpool Victoria Hospital.
The charities project has been running for the past three years, benefiting causes from all over the Fylde.
Heather Armstrong, head of operations at Lytham Aegon, was happy with the result, saying: "It has been an impressive year in terms of fundraising activity. Many of our Lytham staff put in an immense amount of work into ensuring that fundraising efforts were a success.
"Aegon is delighted to match the sum the staff have raised with a corporate donation and to help to contribute to three such valuable charities, which have been voted for by the staff."
Representatives from the three charitable organisations were also present to express their gratitude to Aegon staff.
Rob Woolley, of Trinity Hospice, said: "We are eternally grateful for Aegon's support. They have supported us in the past, which has been so helpful."
Paul Bailey, of the Special Care Baby Unit said: "This donation will go far. Each year, we have to buy equipment, so charitable donations are invaluable to us. This money will benefit parents and children."
North West Air Ambulance representative Lynda Brislin commented: "We know that we need to raise £3.3 million every year and we don't get any mainstream funding, so we need to raise 100 per cent by ourselves.
"To get this funding so early in the year is a real weight off our minds."
