A FYLDE student is all set for a fabulous once-in-a-lifetime trip to India – courtesy of Thwaites Brewery.

Sadie Bowes, 17, of St Annes, has been chosen to join the annual Thwaites Scholarship on a two-week adventure to South Asia in July.
Sadie, who attends Carr Hill Sixth Form Centre, Kirkham, forms part of a select group of 10 students from across the region who will undertake an Orientation, Homestay and Community Service Project.
After flying out to Delhi, the group will spend their first four days in one of the country's oldest cities, Dehradun, where they will visit local sites and take trips to Mussoorie and Haridwar.
The pupils will then spend time living within a traditional Indian household, where they will gain a valuable insight into environmental issues such as herbal farming, tree plantations, forestry and ecotourism.
First established by Thwaites' President John Yerburgh back in the early 1960s to help young people from across the region experience the cultures of some of the world's most exciting destinations, the Thwaites Scholarship concept has evolved over the past four decades, with hundreds of students benefiting from the scheme.
Sadie celebrated her selection for the trip when she met Thwaites' new managing director Peter Morris.
